Hi Sabina,

I'm not living there now but lived in Yamaguchi city before, elsewhere in Yamaguchi-ken for about 7 years. I go to Yamaguchi-shi whenever I go back to Japan to visit, still have friends there.

If you have anything specific you'd like to know ask away and if I can't answer myself, I can probably find the answer for you.
