Yes! A lot of Pakistanis are moving to Malaysia for work, so their jobs back in Pakistan may be available.

Interesting as I have mostly heard positive things about Malaysia. I have met quite a few Japanese who worked there in various industires and generally emjoyed the country. They said it was beautiful and the people were friendly, etc.

I have yet to met a Westerner who worked as an English teacher there. I have been reading this site for some time but haven't met anyone in my personal life.

Malaysia is a wonderful country to live in and if i was a millionaire it's my first choice!

But working there is more difficult than some countries due to interracial work politics. In the case of EFL teachers it is a very small market dominated by cowboys paying sub standard wages and no work permits. Malaysia doesn't want the 'White trash' crowd you get a lot of in Thailand so wps are a lot harder to get. On the upside tattooed taxi drivers with khao San road teaching certs don't exist in Malaysia!

I have a mate who is working in a properly paid EFL job (with WP) in Malaysia and he is loving it. It's with schools.

Yes, Malaysia is an absolute hole...terrible food, ugly people, awful beaches and no culture whatsoever. I think you would much prefer Pakistan. The beach parties there are great, lots of available wenches. May I be so bold as to recommend the city of Peshawar. I hear it's wonderful at this time of year.

What a tool!

Yes, spot on wailing...I might even add that in the city of Abbottabad a fairly large compound just became available for rent as the owners seemingly have vacated the place.

Confused
