I earned my TEFL certificate in Peru last Sept. and have been teaching immigrants at home in Mass. on a volunteer basis since then. I'm interested now in possibly teaching in an online program. Has anyone had any experience in this venue, and if so, how did you find your position?
Thanks in advance! |

Talkbean.com, tutorabc.com and several others are out there. I checked into tutorabc. Got through the application process to the sample lesson, which had a bit of technical difficulty. You use their software a la skype, but cannot see the student's face, which to me was a detriment to teaching well. One won't get rich from the income or even meet rent, but the experience is terrific if helping others learn is your motivation. |
