Sorry if I offended you dudes. Just trying to be honest and lay it all out there. I know you all are some hardworking folks. I can tell by the way you write. I am good at reading people's true character. Been doing it all my life. Also, I know I do have a lot to learn on teaching. That 's why I plan to do Celta or Delta or whatever.
Anyway, sounds like the Middle East might be a good fit moneywise. But you were saying you can't date the locals? Who can you date? I have to admit the thought of "getting underneath the burka" is kind of exciting to me. But anyway. Are there other foreigners up for a date? Philipina maids? |

Well, Rick, you wrote in your first post that by the ripe old age of 30, "I have pretty much "done it all" in life". If you end up in the Middle East and try to date the locals, you may find that there's quite a lot you have yet to learn about living in another culture. The locals may not look kindly on your pursuit of the "extracurricular activities" that seem to be one of the main reasons you want to teach English overseas. Your account of your adventures will be amusing to read, Im sure ! |
