I've been offered an interview for a job with Emirates in their specialist language unit. Thing is, I'm currently based in the UK and the interview is fully expensed in Dubai!!! Does anyone know what the pay/benefits are like as I wouldn't want to waste their money if it's not worth it.

Advice much appreciated.

You need to give us at least a hint who the employer is... and your credentials. Laughing

What do you mean by "the interview is fully expensed"? Does that mean that they pay or you pay?

Hi VS,

The employer is Emirates Airlines and they are paying for me to come to Dubai for the interview.

Sounds interesting to me... especially if they are flying you in... Cool

I don't believe that we've had any posters here who admitted to teaching for the airline. I assume that since you have experience in the UAE, you already know what your credentials are worth.

Hope that someone shows up who has heard their pay scale and benefits.

To be honest, I've been out of the UAE for a few years now so an update regarding what could be expected in terms of pay/benefits for someone with my credentials would be most appreciated. However, would also be interested to hear from anyone else who has either been offered an interview or knows anything about the pay/benefits offered at the Emirates Training Academy.
