Not really... Blackwater is now based in the UAE... so most of the cash will go straight to offshore banking and none will be taxable in the West. (perhaps some of the mercenaries will send money home?)

Ooh! Do you think I can join? Teaching English is boring and it doesn't impress girls.

Yes, Sheikh N Bake you can. I've taught some of these guys in the past, and it pays a lot more than educational institutions. You can also talk about religion, sex and politics as well.

I think the fear is not the UAE nationals. Suppose the millions of TCNs decided they wanted a bigger share if the pie. If they got organized they could be a real concern for the sheiks.

And what difference are 800 foreign mercenaries going to make if that happened? That is not what this is about... it is about Black Ops, not shooting unarmed servants.

No US gov't-led black ops would go through this thoroughly discredited Prince guy who hires a bunch of South Africans and incompetent Colombians. A Bay of Pigs they don't need. US Special Forces are perfectly capable of handling difficult assignments without those people. I assume you agree any black ops emanating from this particular battalion would be on behalf of Abu Dhabi. And that includes possibly quelling construction worker riots, according to the article, although the police seem perfectly capable of that as well.

Yes... he has already banked millions of our tax dollars doing similar underhanded illegal acts for the US government. (which is why he is now hiding in the UAE)
