I don't think anyone is particularly interested in the nature of your work, but rather in the length of time you spent in the Kingdom. And I fail to see how, as an anyonymous internet poster, giving a rough estimate of the length of your stay in the Kingdom (was it weeks? months? years?) is going to 'out' you and your supposedly sensitive work. Anyway, that's your choice - I'd agree with John that it's hard for us to know how valid your advice is without you telling us if you spent 3 weeks or 3 years in the Kingdom.

But since the OP seems no longer interested in the discussion, I suppose it's all a bit of a moot point. For what it's worth, I agree with those posters who advise a first-timer against working outside of the major cities. I'm neither female, a newbie, or particularly young, but there's no way even I would consider a job in Buraidah or Tabuk!

More than 40 years after first arriving in Saudi Arabia I can now reveal that I have been working undercover as an agent for the Intergalactic Council, studying communication patterns within and between humanoid organisations.

Of course in the period that I was doing this important work for IC I was not able to reveal my true identity, since this could have affected the vital research that I was doing.

In a few days I shall be leaving Terra but I can assure all Earthlings that i will make a balanced and fair report to my Masters.

I would've taken the time to reply at greater length but lately I've been busy inventing cold fusion. I'm off to Geneva tomorrow to present my paper and chair a United Nations convention on its practical applications on a macroeconomic level. Needless to say, I'm traveling incognito, though I don't need armed guards as I'm a 12-th degree black belt in taikwando.
