Libya - started a war there.

I would like to see your sources for that one, considering Gadhafi was slaughtering his people and the US didn't get involved until after the UN stepped in. The US was NOT the first country in there, and the US did not 'declare war'.

Which is exactly why Obama is impeachable.

I've read that Obama (or his handlers, rather) is putting together a billion dollar campaign for 2012. Although there's a good deal of anti-Obama sentiment, the facts are that 50% of American voters are liberal, Wall Street, the Mainstream Media, unions, lawyers, and many with Big Business are behind him, and there are no truly viable candidates among conservatives that can turn heads on both sides, at least at this point.

Still, there's a lot of anger in the air, and this corrupted sport of politics is creating another division of the Blue and the Gray.

Ron Paul is certainly that candidate if only the mainstream media would stop ridiculing and belittling him. Of course, they do that because that are afraid of him and cannot credibly refute his messages about the need to audit the Fed, smaller government, stopping interference in other countries abroad, and sound money.

Actually a Libertarian, on whose ticket he ran at the top in 1988 garnering a million votes, he took on the cloak of Republican only to take advantage of their organization. He represents the only real alternative to the phony left/right, Dem/Rep duopoly.

Obama's war on prosperity is part of the reason many of us are outside the U.S. hustling for teaching jobs right now. The U.S. is no longer a driving force.

Partisan politics aside, we need a business person in the office. Elections should never be about the lesser of two evils, but about the one most likely to keep the money flowing for the rest of us. Collapsing industries and redistributing our stolen earnings to non-productive slackers is a quick path to suicide.

Obama, as is virtually any other man who would 'run' this country is a figurehead, a mouthpiece of carefully crafted rhetoric that has little true power to change direction. It's the vast team of supporters (or opponents), such as the Congress (themselves manipulated by money and special interest voices), judiciary (charlatan lawyers and legislating judges), and loud media who are steering this government towards just a long enough limbo to escape with their stash before the debilitating collapse thoroughly soils 'the next guy'.

Facts are, most people don't think. As long as their own little blindered lives aren't hitting bottom, they're inclined to continue to vote for the status quo. Politicians know this, and take full advantage of short-term memory, repetition=contagion, and emotional buzz words to guarantee their power.

The contemporary Tea Party (begun by a profound outburst by Rick Santelli on the floor of the Chicago Merchantile Exchange) is making inroads into the corrupt game, challenging political elitists and growing in national awareness, in spite of the media and numerous hack politicians using their airtime to stifle dissent however they can. But more than these united voices are required to make a difference in the direction away from the iceberg. Apathy abounds, and until there is massive, organized civil unrest by a majority of Americans, demands for recalls and impeachments (rather than 'just wait patiently for the election in a few more years') I'm afraid the few lifeboats should be at the ready.

Oops--I seem to have stumbled into a fact-free environment. (Let's see, there must be someone I can blame. . . )

Dear Denizen,

But - is that a fact?

Regards,

So why did Barracks O'Bomber attack Libya? Gaddafi was about to start a gold based African currency and sell oil for gold, not US dollars. I'm no fan of Gaddafi, but this would have been good for Africa.

Note that Saddam Hussein was also trying to sell oil for gold or currencies other US dollars. We know what happened.

The banksters in USA will do anything to protect the status of the US dollar as the world reserve currency. Obama is their latest puppet.

Why? Possibly because The Manchild has a chip on his shoulder. That certainly makes him a useful sock puppet for George Soros. But I don't think the scheme is to prop up the greenback, but to turn it into toilet paper.

What baffles me is why anyone with a brain would vote to re-elect a leader who hates his own country so much.

When did this happen? A left-wing party in the US? Never heard of that. Has my spy network suffered an intelligence failure?

Me neither, in fact, I think Democrats look more and more like Republicans all the time. And why arent other parties taken more seriously? Especially parties that have a well thought out, extensive platform, for example the Green Party, or the Liberatarian Party? When I talk to people they just dismiss them with a shrug. Are people too busy, too complacent, to stupid, or what? Given that only roughly a third of the population even bothers to vote, how representative is the government, really?
