|
|
I'm strongly considering teaching English in Vietnam. However, I know some countries have very strict medical exams and requirements that must be met before a work visa can be issued. For some reason, it's very difficult to find out this kind of info, even from embassies.
Does Vietnam have any restrictions on certain diseases? (I'm not talking about HIV.) What do blood tests check for? What's involved?
Thank you so much! |

| Thanks...I mainly need to know (gotta be blunt here) if they deny work visas based on herpes 2 - I was recently checked for HIV and it came up negative but I showed positive as a herpes 2 carrier. I know China checks for it and denies work visas on that basis and I've heard mixed things about S. Korea. I wanted to make sure Vietnam wouldn't deny me a work visa for that after I uproot my life and move there. |

blood checks test for opiates/THC/amphetamine...
That must be new because Cho Ray didn't test for drugs in 2009. |
