Hi all, does anyone work/has anyone worked at an Armenian School? If so could you please respond with your recommendation based on students, curriculum, salaries and benefits?
Cheers! |

Don't take this the wrong way but I suspect you would probably have more luck with that one in Armenia |

I know there's an Armenian community in Istanbul but I have no idea if they have their own schools. Due to the political situation they may not but don't take my word for it. It would probably be best to try and contact them directly. It seems like no one on this board knows.
You might have more luck in Beirut or Jerusalem or in Syria when things calm down. Or of course, Armenia. |

There is an Armenian school in Taksim, its right off Istiklal at the top, it's opposite a Greek school... I knew a student that once went there, she came to my poxy language school for extra English lessons! I'm pretty sure she said that English was taught to her by the Turkish teachers and that there were no foreign teachers in school. There is a community of Armenians here, they live mainly around Samatya, Capa and Kocamustafapasa as far as I know, there may even be some schools around there. |
