BAE are now advertising for teaching positions in Riyadh (TEFL.com) .... The advert states that applications must be through the BAE Saudi Arabia website. When you view the jobs on their site, this particlular job doesn't exist! So why bother to advertise on TEFL.com and then lead people up a dead end when they try to apply through the BAE site?
Another thing, and let's just face it, you do not need an MA or Diploma to teach Air Force cadets or any other cadets for that matter. I guess the Saudi client has a right to ask for such qualifications when paying so much. In my humble opinion, what counts for more than an MA/Diploma, is real experience of working in a Gulf military environment and having the tact, patience and diplomacy of dealing with Saudi students.
Anyway they are a very good company to work for and have an excellent package.... and the best of luck to those who get in. |

Yeah, that ad's been there for months. Maybe they forgot to remove it.
There is a position listed at their website for an IELTS teacher, however, if you're interested it that. Just search in the "All" job category and scroll down the page to that ad.
Good luck.
