if u click on the link on the first page you will soon find out what the thread is about. There are a couple more threads about the evaluation system but I can't be bothered to search. Think one is from january 2010 and the other a month or so ago. |

Why would anyone be in a hurry to find out the results? |

Are we talking about the SAFEA FT Exam that we were required to "write" in late 2009?
The exam that asked questions like:

A sallow
Peach branch
Yulan
Plum blossom

No my mood wouldnt be impacted by the weather
It could make me feel nervous
It could easily make me into memory.
Do u think that respect is more important than food and clothes
No I sort of disagree with it
I think that solving the food clothing issue is the basis for the respect
Yes I kind of agree with it
Yes it is similar to the spirit vs. wuzhi.

So I'm guessing this test isn't exactly rocket science?
When exactly is it taken? I have so far heard nothing of this in my research concerning teaching in China (which is still in the initial stages.) |
I just took my test last week and I head to China in a week...
The test isn't too hard I scored 80 & 89 on each respective part which I think is a good enough score ... PM if you need any help with teaching in China - I poured a lot of time into researching recently so might be able to give some pointers |
Do you feel that you are a suitable teacher after that test? And, did you have to do the Psychological Assessment that was required before? |

B) A personal name, as in "My auntie Gerundine"
C) A French policeman.
D) A flower.
The correct answer is D, it's a kind of flower. |

I feel about the same after the test as I did before (is that question another part of the test?). And yes, I had to take the Psychological Assessment as well |

I think what I said about researching on China may have been misinterpreted. I meant that I have researched different places, types of schools, what to look for in a contract, etc. |

Wow. Could they make it a little more transparent? |

These were my favorite questions:
Psychological test:
How do you feel on an early autumn morning?
I would enjoy the cool weather in fall.
A lot of leaves may have fallen.
I won't have any special feelings.
It might be a little bit cool outside.
It might be draining outside.
Basic knowledge:
Which room of the house is most polluted?
Bedroom
Living room
Kitchen
Toilet |

As long as you aren't draining within then things will be okay. |

I have googled away about this - had no idea it existed. Have most people here had to do this or is it just certain places, i.e. state run establishments? |

Yeah I'm a little lost as well. None of my potential employers have mentioned this to me. |
