Has anyone recently worked for Language Link Hanoi?
I'm a newly qualified teacher with no experience and just wondered what kind of company they are like. I've read a few mixed reports but they all seem to be quite dated. |

Language Link Hanoi are straight up. What they say they will do for you, they do. There are no pleasant surprises, but then there are also no unpleasant ones.
Students are generally more motivated than in a lot of centers, and the organization and back up are quite good.
All those positives come with the downside that you have to mark exams, write certificates, and that is not paid extra.
To sum up- honest, and western run. You can get a full time contract with extra benefits, or an hourly rate thats higher than the full time rate, but doesnt come with "goodies" like paid holidays.
In todays climate, Language Link Hanoi is a good bet. Language Link HCMC is another kettle of fish. |

Thank you for that!
Are they similar to ILA? I have an offer from ILA HCMC as well but can't decide. I think I would like Hanoi or HCMC but want to choose the best company. |

| I've worked for both in Saigon, and they're both pretty good. The Language Link in this city is quite a small operation though. I don't think you can go wrong with either, so I'd base it on the city you'd most like to live in. |

ILA/Language Link-Which one?
PERSONAL preference- Language Link Hanoi.
Language Link tend to not try to be so "glitzy" and value effort over appearances. |
