Dear all,

I am in the process of making a decision as to whether I should go to Saudi or not.

As it stands I have a contract from edex (I know they are not to be trusted etc.) and currently have in my passport a visa (a business visa to be specific). At the moment, I am not feeling too good about the visa and the company and as such more than likely I am going to give this opportunity a pass.

Question is, what would happen if I decided not to go to Saudi (bearing in mind the above and also bearing in mind that possibly next year I may want to work in Saudi with a legit work visa)? Has anyone been in the same position?

Obviously I would not want my name blacklisted so how can I get out of this if it happens (even thoughI may never find out if my name was indeed blacklisted)?

Go and finish your MA and then follow the usual route of just getting a new passport if you decide to go to Saudi. You can also look at the rest of the Gulf, and then it won't be any issue at all.
