Scary, I'm beginning to think that's actually a squirrel you're frolicking with... |

I admit that I hear voices in my head, but one of them isn't a squirrel!
It's not even a "secret squirrel"! |

Of course in the real world it is a simple thing called math... you know a Delta (a year long diploma) vs a 2 year MA... go figure.
|
Just to sort of get back to the topic while the tag team frolics in their notoriety...
In the UK, most MAs are only one year... so it may very well be true that a British MA is pretty close to a DELTA, but I wouldn't compare either of them to my MA. (a topic that is beat to death in every ME faculty lounge)

No - I'm sure a UK MA can't be compared to one from Cairo. |

My MA in the States was one year - but that was due to my taking lots of credit hours each semester; spring, summer, and fall. And fitting in the thesis
as well. Plus, I was working part-time.
But I was a lot younger then .

Same with mine. It took about 16 months, but that was 3/4 time in Japan and working full-time at an Eikaiwa! |
