I have an MA in TESOL from an Australian UNI, but no CELTA/TEFL certificate. Can I still get a job in Vietnam?
Thanks! |

Yep.
Bring BOTH your uni (undergrad) degree and also your MA, all stamped, etc, for the WP. |

I'd been told that having just the MA is sufficient. Am I wrong? |

An MA in TESOL is fantastic for a job and sufficient for a work permit. It might not even be needed, but it's good to have a little oomph in reserve, because you never know. Also, an undergrad in certain areas may open doors. |

All the major language schools seem to want a CELTA/TEFL certificate. Should I just show them my MA? Any suggestions on places to apply? |
