I think you are going to have a really difficult time. I noticed you asked also about visa runs etc.
From my experience in Vietnam (9 years) the requirements to have "paper" bits is getting harder, and if yoiuy have an offer from the New Hanoian, it may have a visa clause, and if the employer is reputable, it will have a work permit clause too. If you got the job over the internet and without documentation, I doubt that.

Good luck- "I think" you will need it.

Yes, you can just fly in and work, but you might get fired (or not actually hired) and not be able to get work. That would put you in a desperate situation, man. This is a competitive environment now, and one that comes with requirements. I'll second Snolly G's response and suggest you read it carefully before pulling the trigger.

I can get all the required documentation. However, I got burned here in Turkey, and it would be really expensive to replace it all by going back to the States. To top it all off the pay in Turkey doesn't give a guy the cash flow to run all over the planet. What do you guys think of Laos or Cambo??

Yea, maybe Cambodia, but you do know that you can get your paperwork via DHL or mail? It would take a while, but it's doable. You wouldn't HAVE to go back to the US. Also, if you could wait 6 mos, you can get a local police check. It'd be good to at least have a copy of a degree/ certificate, as you might be able to get a better job than without.

I just think you wouldn't want to be be-bopping around too much, trying to stay a step ahead of things. Do you have a degree, at least, that you can get sent? What about an ESL cert?
