Is there any experience / commentary of securing a Z visa from the PRC Embassy in Manila, Philippines? I looked at their website but there is no address or telephone number. Only an invalid email address. Not impressive from that respect!
Anyone have experience dealung with the Manila embassy?
thanks |

Are you a Filipino? It sure does make a difference.....if you are Filipino then it's a lot of BS from what I heard from Filipino teachers here. They need a lot of paperwork and several days, plus they aren't very nice(the frontline staff are filipinos and if you are in the Philippines you know how filipinos can be to other filipinos)
If you are a westerner, I suppose it is not nearly as bad, but then again, you might want to consider Hong Kong where it is quicker and less hassle. |

One of my coworkers got his Z visa in Manila (he's American). Said he had to stand in line for hours for many days. Complained about it quite a lot. When I went to get my Z-visa in Houston, Texas, I waited for about 1 hour then gave them my paperwork, and came back in a few days to pick it up, with no line for that at all. |
