Could have been, I ran past that area every day. Looked like a relatively nice place.
Yeah, the menu offered few western-oriented choices, and even those were, shall we say, nastily-prepared. But a lot of locals frequently the Intercon restaurant.
I guess my point is for newbies not to expect a western-oriented venue at the major hotels in KSA. The only place I found that was at the breakfast buffet at the Holiday Inn in Riyadh. Bear in mind, though, that I came down with severe food poisoning later that day.
