Hello,
Please forgive me but I have only seen a few posts directly related to these questions and I would appreciate some confirmation.

1. I live in the Southeast United States, where will I have to go for an interview? I may be blind as I did not see anything about a recruiting schedule from the Westgate website. There's a chance they would just do a phone interview with me to my understanding, is this correct?

2. Is TEFL/CELTA cerftification required? If I am not certified, should I apply anyways?

Thanks for your time.
Nate

I had a phone interview with them. Don't know about your second question, though.

2. No, you do not need TEFL certification/qualifications. Read the home page and take the link to salaries from the Compensation and Benefits section. It says what qualifications you need plus what experience you need to make their salary.

Hi Nate

I leave at the end of the month to start with Westgate's university program. I have no TEFL qualifications or diploma, but I do have 2 years of full-time teaching experience in France + another year and a half with ESL in the states + a degree in English.

The application process is a bit time-consuming, but if you're interested and have something to offer, I don't see why you wouldn't think about applying. The worse that can happen is they say no.

I have an interview with both Westgate and MIL this week (over the phone). What should I expect? Any suggestions would be great.
