Just to see how many are in a similar situation, I thought I'd ask about your recent or current visa approval experience. Mine was submitted Sept. 2 to the MoHE. Still no resolution yet.
How about you. |

Thanks for posting your info Jacob82. Maybe we'll hear soon from someone who's actually received their approval and they'll tell us when theirs was submitted.
There should be a pretty large number of people who've submitted within the past 5 weeks, but I have no idea if they are reading this forum. |

Please clarify is this is for the Ministry of Higher Education or Manpower.
Manpower should not take more than a week. |

Good to know that about Manpower. As I stated in the OP, " Mine was submitted Sept. 2 to the MoHE." Thanks for the info. If I had it to do over, I'd apply for a job that goes through the Ministry of Manpower. |

My docs were approved by MoHE on the 1st of August and I got visa on the 24th of September. Now I am here in Oman and know many teachers who got visa in just 2 weeks so visa can be approved in days, weeks or months. |

many teachers that were offered a certain amount of money on the phone were then told they would only be getting 1/2 of that salary. They were told this after they arrived. Some left because they have refused to work for 1/2 of what they were offered so now the univerisities are looking for more people. BEWARE of this trick. |
