I was actually a bit shocked when I googled that website to find dozens of similar ones, all seeming to offer assistance to non-EU ciitzens. Some on African nationals from various countries....I've absolutely no grounds to imagine, much less claim, that there is any criminal action going on with those sites, but it looked really scary on the face of it. |

Hey everyone,
Apparently I'm not the only one with this offer. You can view the thread here: http://www.esl-jobs-forum.com/viewtopic.php?p=11448#11448
I guess the best thing to do is just to ignore them now.
Thanks for all your warning. I hope all they wanted was money and not identity theft or anything like that. They didn't ask for any personal documents nor passport number and things like that.
Sadly, Spain doesn't seem like the country for me. If only there were less red tape. |

As I and others have pointed out many times in the past, private language schools simply can't get visas for EFL teachers. Any time one is offering to do so, it's 99& likely to be a scam.
Anyway, fortunately you didn't get so far as to fly over and lose money as well as time.
Thanks for keeping us posted. |
