Hi Folks,
I write to enquire about the job market in the UAE for someone with my credentials.
I have a BA English, CELTA, PGCE and 6 years post CELTA experience. I am currently studying for an MA in Applied Linguistics.
I am considering Abu Dhabi, possibly Dubai or Sharjah. What is the job market, if any, for someone like me?
Regards

Complete your MA before you start applying. The best jobs will want to see it in hand. The other catch is that they want to see experience AFTER the MA. Now, since you have Gulf experience, that will probably help you get past that catch.
I assume that you are doing an online or distance MA. If so, they are only accepted by the Ministry of Higher Education, not the Ministry of Education (K-12). There are more jobs under the MoHE for MA holders though so that shouldn't be a problem.
I suggest that you attend TESOLArabia the March before you want to start teaching in the UAE. That is your best opportunity to find a job.
