How on Earth can people recognise you in real life dmb?
All I have to go on is that you're a Scottish bloke who's fond of a drink... Hardly narrows it down does it? |

Don't forget he's dumb, at least after a few pints.
No one has recognized me, I don't look anything like my avatar, unlike dmb. |

| I get rumbled because I guess there aren't too many people who have spent 10 years in Turkey followed by 2 years in Qatar then returned to Turkey |

| Oops, been rumbled again, this time by my employers (shortly to be ex-employers), following a rather truthful posting (now deleted, but to be restated once I'm out of here). This site has given me some useful warnings about jobs I nearly applied for. After all, that's one of the reasons we post things. Anybody willing to give me a job? |

Funny this was brought up.
Yes, and it was actually on the Great Wall of China last month.
I posed for my friend on the Great Wall with a sign saying "The Whiner on the Wall" and a travelling Canadian or American with his Korean girlfriend who said in Korean "I think that is the Great Wall of Whiner. The guy you hate from Dave's ESL Cafe".
He said to me he didn't hate me and his GF was just kidding around before he made a hasty retreat.
I was a bit red-faced |

| My friend and I both thought about it only after he ran away with his tail between his legs. |
