Does anyone have any experience working for an NGO in Mexico? I'm looking to get a teaching job first but i'm interested in looking into this into the future.
Thanks in advance |

I wonder if the Casa de los Amigos in Mexico City might be a place to start your searches. It's the headquarters of the Society of Friends in Mexico City. Here's the link to its website: http://www.casadelosamigos.org/ . |

Keep in mind that it can be hard to get a visa for paid work in an NGO in Mexico as the organization needs to justify hiring a foreigner over a Mexican. Casa de los Amigos is a good place to make contact and I do know an American who worked there as their foreign volunteer coordinator many years ago. I've also ment foreigners in Mexico who work for some other non-Mexican based NGOs who are sent to Mexico but didn't get the job in Mexico nor are paid in Mexico so they are not officially working in Mexico. |
