Hello,
My girl and our 18-month daughter will head to the Philippines in the near future. The baby will stay with the wife's family side, but their English is like a pigeon-English. I'm thinking to hire a local English teacher who can teach the girl proper English during her stay there. Can someone give me an idea of how much this might cost for 2 or 3 days per week. Her family is located in the Isabella, northern Luzon region, if that helps out to guesstimate a price.
Cheers,
Aaron |

For a one hour private lesson in the Philippines by a Filipino would be about 100-125 pesos an hour. |

If you are going to be there long term then hire a not-yet employed, recent BEED graduate (Early Childhood Education) for about p10,000 ($225) /month (full time, 40 hours, 5 days per week). Less if she is live-in and you supply room & board.
If you are talking short term (<6 months), then don't worry about it.
