Hello,
Does anyone know what type of background check is acceptable for a Chilean visa?
I have the options of local, county, state, and federal (FBI). A local check I can have done in an hour; an FBI check takes months. I'd prefer not to wait if a lower level check is permissible.
Edit: Forgot to say I looked at the documents here: http://www.extranjeria.gob.cl/tipos-de-residencia-temporaria/#capitulo8
but I can't find any pertinent info. I may have missed it though because my Spanish is not fabulous.
