I had quite a strange interview with this school.

First, they called me 90 minutes early.

They only asked me about behavioral management, nothing about pedagogy or the standard types of questions about how I actually teach content.

Also, the interview lasted about 10 minutes, and I felt like I performed really poorly, I wasn't quite mentally prepared for the interview, given that I was called so early.

Yet, despite all of that they offered me the position.

I remember thinking after the interview, if they offer me a position, this does not sound like a place where I want to work.

In the offer email they addressed me as Ms., I have a very gendered name, and the author of the email is a native speaker.

In the actual offer letter, they had incorrect dates.

My would br foreign supervisor received all his post-secondary degrees from for-profit online universities.

So, I think I am going to take a pass.
