Drat! I slipped and hit the post icon before I finished the poll. Doesn't look like fixing it is an option. |

Ha ha! I notice that "No" is not an option!
"The decks will never be clear." How true!
So what are you writing this summer, esl_prof?

Other than syllabi for fall courses?
I thought I had put "Who are you kidding?" for the third and final answer, but for some reason it didn't show up. |

First book 'Travelling, teaching and tippling in Paris' is finished bar a few revisions. Summer will be time to finish 'Hookers and Hypocrites: an ex-pats view of life in the Middle East.' |

Yep, and lots of it. In addition to taking two courses this summer for my degree, I'm also about a quarter of the way through a technical writing course, Technical Communication Industry Certificate - Mastery Level (http://www.utsa.edu/ee/TechWrite/mastertech.html). It will complement my Masters of Ed Tech, which I'll finish this fall.

Hmm... "Hookers and Hypocrites." Which one are you, MG?
(I couldn't resist!) |

I've said before that when I give up TEFL teaching my next career is as a gigolo. Reduced rates for Dave's members of course but female only! Perhaps a better answer to your question would be that there's a little bit of each in most, if not all of us |

Most hookers, though, tend not to be very hypocritical - or so I'm told.
Regards,

Do your colleagues here at Dave's get a free promotional Kindle download at the time of publication? |

Given the very persistent temperatures in the 40s and 50s, it feels like summer's still six weeks off here. |
