Having been a lurker here for quite some time, I've come to see you as the guy who bursts into a room and tries to take control over conversations, without first getting to know the room.
You haven't taken part in many conversations. Instead you like to provoke people and then act as a saviour with all the right answers.
Frankly, most of the answers (and questions) you provide here are glib, trite and irrelevant.
It seems you have a need to tell everyone of your abounding knowledge, superiority and your blackness. Mostly, I don't care. You are simply an irritant to most people here who come to talk about their careers, their life's experiences and to participate in a community. Usually in any community, it is those who have the most experience in life that should be talking the most. But you barge into the community shooting your mouth off to anyone who will listen, and THEN procede to tell a group of seasoned professionals how they should be conducting themselves. This from the man who has never left the confines of his own narcissistic culture.
This is something that I have experienced often, especially in the backwaters of China, and (dare I say it) generally it is North Americans who show this kind of boorish behaviour.
Perhaps, Black Guy not in Asia, it would serve you well to listen to what others have to say and ask a few questions without your own opinions attached. That way you might offend a lot less people, and you may even learn a thing or two.

What the hell are you talking about, "black guy not n asia"? How do you "see" anything when you're not even here? From your previous posts this fits the trend of your writing pretty well. Why do you insist on talking about things which you have no insight into?

I think Dex pretty much pegged you. Maybe you should change your screen name to "Black guy n asia in his own mind" because you have demonstrated a complete lack of understanding of the realities of HK and Asia on the ground and a total misunderstanding of the HK and Asian mindset. Why is it so hard for you to wait until you get here to pass judgment? Are you really convinced that you already know everything? And if you are then why are you planning on coming at all? In the future, since you have not actually been here why don't you ask polite questions instead of telling people who know more than you the situation.

Here endeth the lesson.

My beef's 'Angus', if you're offering ... with a side-helping of horseradish sauce: boot-i-ful.

You guys fell right for the bait. The blackdude is spot on. There is a hellava lotta hatred on this forum. I looked back through some old threads, and there are some real mean spirited people here. Mostly they like to tear down anything that they see as a threat, or just try to inflict as much hurt as they can on others. They see themselves as better than the rest of humanity. No names required here, just look amongst yourselves.

There are plenty of decent folks here, but an alarming number of misanthropists. I am referring to this forum, not HK in general.

Hey, no need to peg all us Canucks together. Of course there is a problem here with people expecting Canadian attitudes to racial acceptance to exist in the rest of the world.

I don't see anymore hatred on this forum than others that I visit. It seems more to be a case of uninhibited bluntness.

There's no "again", I never read it a first time, which is a pre-requisite for reading something again.

A troll indeed.
Your monologue looks like it was plagarised (and badly at that) and has very little relevance to these boards.
You are a troll, and until you stop being one, no one will take you seriously.
