I've been known to eat mayonnaise straight from the jar or crunch raw pasta noodles when nothing else is about.
Oh, and I steal erasers when my students leave them behind.... |

while supporting Argentina against England in a world cup..... I cheered when England got the winning goal. I later confessed this to a fellow Celt, he still brings it up to this day. A henious crime of the gravest nature for a Scot. |

Sometimes I watch 'King of Queens' and don't hate it.
I've taken advantage of the manavcı by choosing 3-4 green onions, knowing he won't make me pay for them (but only because I can't finish a whole bunch myself before they go bad).
My mother-in-law gives me knick-knacks and doilies that I don't really care for but it's sweet that she chooses them for me, and I put them out in case she comes over but secretly I'm planning to put them in the back room out of sight once we get the furniture in there, or even give them away once I think she's forgotten about them.
I'm often interested in the stuff I find in my bellybutton.
And once many years ago I pulled the legs and wings off a little green bug, and then I felt bad because there was no way to know if it was dead or suffering.
You shouldn't have got me started on this, whynotme. The world of guilt gnawing away at me is best left unsaid... |

Do bugs have hearts or a pulse? You could have checked.
I take it you are not vegetarian |

Definitely not a veg. Though I have no reservations about eating a cow, I'd have some ethical issues with pulling its legs off...
I think bugs do have hearts (or some kind of pumping ganglia) and pulses, though the equipment to measure this was not available to me as an 8 year old near a pond. Also, it was a very small bug, too small to see if it was moving its head or looking at me. I did inspect it at length after it's dismemberment, however, and even showed it to some other kids, but nobody else could decide if it was dead either. Then I accidentally dropped it in the grass and couldn't find it. It was a dark day for humankind.
Hearts and pulses aside, I do hope bugs don't have souls. |

I'd say it's much more existential than scientific, like 'What are you?' and 'Why are you here?'
Very interesting bellybutton lint reading, gentlemen, though it does remove some of the mystique. I prefer to think of my bellybutton stuff as having more personality than that... |

I would like to do such a lesson, but there has been a statistically significant reduction in my BBF since I got my navel pierced, so if I wanted realia, I'd have to borrow someone else's.

Interesting that it changes colour over time, though. |
Indeed. Also it's really weird when it's a color unrelated to your clothing color... |
