Every now and then someone here puts on a link to youtube and usually those clips are well worth watching, but they tend to be scattered amongst different threads on the site so therefore can be difficult to find again.

I propose this should be used as a repository of all youtube recommendations so that when one (Wow! - I can do impersonal pronouns too!) has an idle moment, one can find something to look at that has been vetted and is likely to be amusing/interesting/useful.

I'll start with three I discovered today (courtesy of SD):

Good idea FGT! Idea

I'm just sticking Entrailicus' last contribution here-- I keep wanting to send it to people but it'll soon not be so easy to find...

Oddly enough, yes. Embarassed I'm not sure if it's this new-ish keyboard or pregnancy induced clumsiness, but my spelling/typing has gone all to hell! Worse, is that I read over everything a couple of times, and it still looks like that.

I also keep making a lot of mistakes like hear/here, piece/peace...

I corrected about 12 spelling/typing mistakes just writing this little bit, and I bet there're still some things wrong...

Baby makes Mommy stupid. Sad

Mommy could use a drink.

I kind of thought I'd never regain it. My poor mom spent 20 years of her life with my brothers and I thinking she was the dumbest person alive, and of course she's not...

I've also accepted that, though I never was very cool in the first place, I will most definitely never be anything like cool again and it doesn't matter what music I listen to. The most un-cool people in the world are mommies, I think. I find it comforting to think that probably even Madonna's kids find her ragingly, embarrassingly uncool. If she ever sees them, that is.

The most uncool thing is when my mom says 'cool,' and she's not talking about the weather.

So there's hope for me yet, for being cool?

Maybe if I got that T-shirt....

Has anyone read the news that the turkish government has ordered YouTube be removed from the servers and it is, as of today, unaccessible? Apparently, someone stated the truth too many times and they (youtube) are falling into the mire of 'unturkishness'.

It was because they made Ataturk out to be a homosexual, something not true, he was a great and compassionate leader, I might add.

So youtube is now bloked. Which is a bit harsh!
