SO I've heard about this through the grapevine, tried doing a search on the internet, but found few concrete results. What is this festival and how can I find out more info on this thing??

Spring Scream is this weekend April 4th, in Kenting . The date has been changed but the party is still on.
Great music, food and fun.
They are trying to keep it low key this year as it got raided last year.
I haven't missed one yet and I am not going to start this year. See you there. |

| Buy a Friday English language newspaper.....the Taipei times has a lot of info last week and so did the China post but the Taipei Times article gave the most info. |

how big should i imagine the event to be?? are there only chinese bands playing? is it a chinese event or a foreigner thing?? Is there a website to check out the line up??

It's a bunch of wacked out foreigner bands that you've never heard of before. The website for spring scream is www.springscream.com There are still tickets available. |

Of course "we" use Taiwanese girls and "they" never use us. It takes two to dance, okay. Is it our fault that the local girls find us so interesting. I am going to assume that you are a jaded caucasian girl. Get a better attitude and maybe you'll meet someone too. |

This stereotype is sadly more than a stereotype. It just boggles my mind how some of the biggest losers (myself included) can land girlfriends so easily here. It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact that said losers often end up with super-inflated egos.
Of course, once they meet their caucasian female counterpart, they are quickly put in their place.
Word of advice: don't go running your mouth about what a love machine you are. |

Excuse me but my wife is Taiwanese and she says I am a great lover.
Did someone get arrested down there this year? Last year the police arrested several foreigners and forced them to submit urine samples to be used as evidence.
It would be nice if it were just about the music and people.
