I wondered if any of you have been invited to the Royal Wedding? I havent. Neither have Sarkozy or Blatter. Blatter, by the the way, is the dictator who runs World soccer. He was snubbed, apparently, because he gave the World Cup to Russia and then a funny little place called Qatar.
What excuse would you give if you were invited?

Sad No. I wasn't invited.

I'm not a crowned head of state (a monarch). Only royals and nobles are invited: http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/official-royal-wedding-list-released-by-britains-monarchy/2011/04/23/AFVgQ2TE_story.html?hpid=z3

Laughing My excuse if I were invited: "I'm royalty!"

I did not invite any of the Windsors to either of my weddings. I am not surprised that they did not invite me.

I, too, am guilty of having snubbed the UK royals when it was time to send invitations to my wedding.

I suppose I'm paying the price now Shocked

I'd offer to put them up in my dacha in Ekaterinburg. Has an exclusive complex just for royals. Not quite Ipatiev House, but would do just as well...

Dear Scot,

Marriage is a mistake every man has to make once in his life.

Are you and I both learning disabled?

Cheers,
KK

Dear Korman DeKobb,

"A second marriage is the triumph of hope over experience."

Dr. Samuel Johnson

And yet, as one who "got it right" only on my third attempt, I'll have to go with this:

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.

Regards,
John

The Royal Family, though due all respect for their positions are becoming more an elegant soap opera than the stately elite of the past.

Regrettably, my invitation must've gotten lost in the Royal Mail.
