Oh sorry, Dan. That would be the land of the rising sun.
It's good beer, if I remember correctly. Certainly should as I have spent enough on it to have purchased a micro-brewery.
Another interesting thing is that to get around the 70% tax, they market beer cocktails made from things such as peas. Hard to believe that one of them actually found favor in a world-class beer tasting challenge--fooled some pros. Swore it off in the beginning and later was hooked on it for financial reasons. Believe it gave me the runs and probably carries with it a host of other ill-effects.
I say, if you wouldn't pour it on your houseplant--don't drink it.
Enjoy Sir,

| I want to always live in a place where mass transit is valued. |
I live in a country with pretty good public transport but it takes three times as much time to get anythere by public transport as oppposed to by car. So I gotta think to myself: Do I want to work an extra two hours a day and get 600 crowns or so minus 100 crowns of gas or do I want to sit and stew on public transport for two to three hours a day? Add a few business classes and this multiplies several times - you can easily spend four hours on public tranport for two hours of classes. You don't need to be an accountant to figure out that isn't the most efficient way to do things.
This isn't even factoring the missed days of work due to someone hacking up a lung behind me and giving me some dreaded chest virus or the fact that after 1 hour on a tram in the blazing sun without AC Im in no condition to present myself to a class.

When I made the traffic observation I was walking down the feeder road of the freeway looking like Kwai Chain Kane from Kung fu...
Be well,

Sweetse, dunno about Japanese beer, but I drank enough of the Korean stuff to "buy Miami" with the money.
