Beatrice Dalle, of Betty Blue fame, comes from a town called Mons! Pretty appropriate, considering how much you see hers in the film. Maybe Mons and Condom could become sister cities?
I remember there was a city called "Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump," in Alberta. Or is that just the English translation of its name?
There are some strange ones in Hong Kong, because the Cantonese for luck or lucky is spelled "fuk." I believe I've seen an apartment building called "Ho Fuk Garden." |

Well, there is a Truth or Consequences New Mexico. In Pennsylvania you'll find California and in the state of Missouri there is Mexico. Wyoming has a village with the charming name of Ten Sleep.
I know of a Chicken Dinner Road in Idaho and apparently in Denmark there is a steert called Badfart. |
