The reason that "nice British man" (a good friend of mine ) is doing interviews for the ladies campus at ELI Abdulaziz Uni is due to the ladies campus not having a recruitment unit at their location, which is about a mile from the men's ELI location). The men's ELI location supports the ladies campus for most admin matters. The recruitment unit reviews all CVs and conducts the interviews. When they find a good female candidate, they send the information to the Vice-Dean of the ladies campus (another very nice person). I agree that we should be better able to address the kinds of questions that our female partners have (like housing), but you could always PM me and I would be happy to help, or give you an email address that can give you a more focused answer.

Just to add to what Nomad Soul said, some teachers where I work who were direct hire and who arrived after the start of the academic year had their summer pay and housing allowance reduced pro rata.
