Agree. I wanted to think of a few before mentioning it, but there are so many good anthologies - theme or no theme, narrow or wide time range, regional focus or america-wide, single or multi-author, with or without discussion questions....
If you go for an anthology you can find many made for the high school and college market that have discussion questions and links between characters, themes and motifs, all to make your job easier.
How about either of these? (I have not read them.)

This anthology has been published annually since 1920-something. Each year has a different flavour depending on the editor that year but it's almost always good. |
