....should be advised that you are applying in china. regardless of the
wording of the statutes, the interpretation and enforcement (maybe)
thereof will be up to the whim and fengshui of the officer on duty. |

I'll be out of the country until 2/3 and RP expiration is 2/28. However, my school has renewed/gotten (whatever they do) my FEC and all I need to do is go to immigration (since I'm leaving for two weeks I obviously can't). That was a behind the scenes maneuver by the way- my FAO almost always keeps my FEC in her office.
I don't foresee any problems getting the RP renewed, but if I have any I'll definitely post. |

Definitely a word to the wise Chodofu. If I have to leave in a moment's notice I can and I know where I'd go. That's life living under visas in China. |
