Sounds harsh buddy.

However, never having worked aborad myself I have made sure to look up all the necessary information needed.

It wasnt to hard to find out the legal requirements needed to work legally.

Sounds like you were a bit to keen to just up and go buddy. Lesson learned though I guess, have you been back to china or any other country abroad to work since?

Yes, I was excited to go see China and my recruiter was so smooooooth I never had any reason not to believe her. I definitely will never believe another agent about anything as long as I live. Even if they tell me the sky is blue or water is wet, I will check it out myself - just to be sure. I am okay now. I have a teaching gig here back home that starts in less than a month. But now I worry about this...

I simply cannot believe this woman is still around. I met Rebecca Tang in 2008 and remember saying to myself... "This woman makes Myer Lansky look like a boy scout."

With all the negative press on her and China ESL all over the internet, anyone who walks into her web of deceit does so out of their own damn ignorance and deserves to be bilked as a wake-up call in my opinion.
