I know people in Ningbo and Chengdu who are doing well.
There is that American government program that looks good.
I think it is the English Fellow Program.

Yes, they would have finished for this year, as the academic year starts in about 2 weeks from now. They hire for 2-year contracts, but that doesn't mean all contracts start in the same year.

That's the English Language Fellow (ELF) program (http://www.elfellowprogram.org/). It's funded by the US Department of State and administered by Georgetown University. They put people all over the world. I believe fat_chris is currently an ELF in China.
