| I am already finding that he is not replying to emails. At the interview he said you can email anytime with questions. |

Unfortunately, that's how it works at the ELI at KAU as well. There's so many CV's and emails to go over that they really don't have a system/process in place to properly manage all the communication between the ELI and teachers that have taken the offer, or are waiting for any word regarding their status. Most of the time, you should get an official offer from KAU in about three working days after your interview. I have found this to be the one thing they do well. If a person had an interview, but haven't had an offer letter set after a week, then it's likely they won't get one.
The fun starts after you have taken their offer. You are 99% on your own and you have to figure out how to get your visa paperwork done and get over to Jeddah. They will send the embassy a visa block number, so they know that a visa application is coming from you in the near future, but that's mainly all the support you'll get.

| Tabuk is just south of the Jordanian border. I taught in a secondary school there in 1970-1972. I still have the mental scars ! |

I wouldn't say 99% on your own. The Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission staff was extremely helpful in guiding me through the employment visa process, and they were quick in booking my flight once I had my visa in hand. |

| Oh, I met KAU's ELI, not The Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission. SACM was quite helpful to me as well. |
