Nah it doesn't. Some places in Jiangsu are getting uber-anal (*cough* *cough* Suzhou) and going over and above the nation-wide requirements to issue the Z/RP, but as of right now (confirmed with new co-workers 10 minutes ago) a CBC isn't currently required in the Wu'. |
Thanks for the clear up. Interesting the first city I taught in "belongs" to Wuxi and I keep in touch in with the FAO and they require it there. Go figure.
Also from 4-19-2014 Wuxi page:
"Foreign experts that are like to work in Jiangsu Province shall get the “Permission for Foreign Experts’ Working in China”. The foreign experts applying for the "Permission for Foreign Experts’ Working in China" shall abide by Chinese laws, physically healthy and have no record of crime and meet at least one of the following requirements:"
Wonder if it is to be implemented or just more inaccurate "official" information. |
