No, I wouldn't expect anyone to name actual schools - fair enough! I know that CELTA is not required by law or custom at state/public universities, though they will almost always want relevant qualifications and from my experience, any job advertised usually draws a good number of applicants, so better quals usually = better chances of landing something. |

It's very rare that you'll see a job advertised for a private university in France. Most jobs are got through speculative applications and recommendations. |

In my experience, the adverts for all uni jobs are basically just for legal form - the university almost always has a candidate already chosen. |
