Not even preferably. The main pre-requisite is experience teaching EFL. So, assuming a person is in a comfortable enough position financially to do a full-time MA, a few years being an EFL monkey and an undergraduate degree in anything will get you on an MATESOL.
Assuming one already has a good degree, references (less important for those already with degrees, but still usually required), transcripts and an acceptable-to-good personal statement, you're in. They just want your money. |
