Just do a google search, you'll find quite a few.

At my center you were expected to work 50-60 hours per week, if you brought up the issue, managment would make vague promises of overtime time pay or flex-time off in the future, which never actually occurred. One teacher pushed the issue and was marked for elimination.

You keep saying 'elimination'. Do you mean that the teacher is fired or does Goofy come around at put a single bullet in the back of their skull when they least expect it?

All I can say is that I worked in centers in two different cities, and that never happened. We got paid overtime for every class we taught above our contract hours, or for volunteering to work holidays/days off. Also, I got a huge bonus when they asked me to relocate.

But: I didn't work in Beijing, which I hear is a little more crazy and disorganized than Shanghai. I was also fortunate to have really good managers. It sounds like that wasn't the case for you, which makes things really hard. That's a bit of the risk of working for chain schools, though. They're kind of like the fast food chains of the ESL world.

I'd be curious to see Disney's opinion of you and what are your teaching credentials?

I think Disney is one of the very few places that pays for over time hours. I have a friend working there and she likes it. Then again every location has different managers so maybe you got the bad egg?
