I wouldn't have anything more to add to that post I made back in October either.

I don't like the way they say you will be based at a Saudi Aramco training centre in the job ad. Al Bassam (and there are a number of others in the area) is known as a Local Training Provider in Saudi Aramco parlance.

These are local and independent institutions who have no other relationship with Saudi Aramco than simply to mop up the recruits who don't make it to the company's own training centres. There are also students studying for positions with different institutions at these LTPs so you might not even be teaching Aramco recruits either... not that that is something to wish for necessarily.

So, take it for what it is: nothing to do with working for or being contracted to Aramco.
