| Agreed with nomad soul on that one! I was an exception within my workplace! It quickly reached a point where people would ask me where I was going to each weekend... |

Ok understood!
Will find out all the details from my employer. The only country I was interested in going to was Egypt. I've got family there so would've been ideal for me. |

A multi exit/reentry visa just facilitates ease of movement, especially here in the Eastern Province. When I wake up on a Friday morning and want to drive across the causeway to Bahrain for whatever reason, I can. Some people go every weekend, some people live there but work in KSA, some people go whenever they want.
Knowing when your visa expires is essential. A colleague recently found out the hard way: while passing through Passport Control to leave the country for a month-long holiday... Needless to say it was a disaster! |

So coming and going is easy with a multi-entrance visa?
I thought KSA made it difficult to leave, as they're afraid you're running of from debts etc. Don't you need an exit visa? Do you not need one if you have a multi-entrance visa? |

Yes you need an exit/re-entry visa to leave and return, but a multi entry visa is basically that but you can do it more than once. I've never had a single issue with a multi entry visa. Put it this way, in 3 days, I exited/re-entered 3 times on the Kuwaiti, Bahraini and Qatari land borders!
From what I heard, it's actually now illegal for Saudi employers to keep hold of your passport, but then when you need an exit visa to leave anyway, it actually makes no difference. |
