Also does anybody know if the process for istiqdam (permanent family visa) be done after bringing the family over on a visit visa to KSA?

The company do not pay for anyone if it's on a visit visa.
As far as I know, you can only extend it up to 180 days. It's easily done online. I've just renewed my husband's.
Don't let it expire as it can lead to lots of problems.
Once it runs out, they have to return to the UK and the process started again.
I remember someone asking your other question as they have children over on visit visas and they can't attend school. They were advised that they can start the process but the children would have to return home to change the visa over.
