Glad some of you can see the situation. Both Edex and ICEAT have their contracts expiring this summer at KSU. So you can bet what will happen.

Saudi needs an oil price of over $100 to balance its books. We are currently at circa $40 and it's been low for well over a year now. Future forecasts aren't great either...

As some here have said, there will be big and SUDDEN changes...Saudi style! It will affect all, citizens and expats. Those of you looking for a few months official notice or something seem to be forgetting ''this is Saudi Arabia''.

Many of these PYP jobs are outsourced and I received a very low offer from ICEAT around 13,000 SAR a month to work for them at King Saud university in Riyadh. This is with an MA TESOL, CELTA and 13 years experience.

Some people are just lucky and have a good job paying upwards of 16,000-20,000 SAR a month, with decent compound accommodation.

Given your qualifications, why didn't you apply for direct-hire positions instead of dealing with for-profit middlemen like ICEAT and the like?
